The central question I am interested in answering is: What are the forces that shape decision behaviour in naturalistic (sport) situations, and in particular in football? My interests are aimed at the supporting perceptuo-motor processes for the control and coordination of purposeful movement and decision making. What social, emotional, neuropsychological, and neurophysiological processes are involved in i) the detection of environmental information (perception), and ii) the integration of this information by the nervous system in the production of controlled movements (action)?
